Hi, my name is Louie. I am a cute and loveable boy with a lot of love to give to my forever family! I have very expressive eyes, you know exactly what is on my mind. When I get excited, I will chase my tail. I like to go for car rides and love sitting shotgun.
I am potty trained, although my new family should know to watch for my cues. I will go to my kennel but I am not happy about it. I tend to let you know that when you close the door, but I will quiet down when you leave. I like to sleep on the end of the bed at night, as I like to be close to my people. I have mastered “sit” and “kennel up” and am working on “stay” and “heel.” I like to play fetch a lot! I would love to take some obedience classes, and would like working on meeting other dogs on a leash. I love to do things for treats and praise.
I have hung out with a bunch of seven and eight year old kids and had a blast playing fetch in the house with them. I have been around cats. I am not a huge fan of them. So it would be best if you are just a dog person. My partner in crime is Lucy, a female pitbull that loves to play with me. I am submissive once I get to know what is going on. I love tug-o-war and to parkour on the furniture.
I came from a hoarder house, I didn’t get a lot of attention and ate mostly people food. Because of this, I now have a habit of counter surfing. I have a bit of anxiety but I am working on it and taking Prozac like a celebrity!
Since being with my foster dad I have gotten more comfortable and willing to learn, and I still want to learn a lot. I get very excited with new people but I have learned to settle down quickly. I love to cuddle with my foster dad so I hope my forever family loves cuddles. I am thriving with structure and learning more every day.

“The Rock” because I have a big head and am really strong – especially when pulling on ropes.
What are some of your favorite toys?
Anything rubber that can be thrown and fetched.
Play all day or cuddles and snoozes?
I LOVE to cuddle and snooze and loving up on my people
What makes your body wiggle and your tail wag harder than anything?
When my people come home and treats, I love treats!
What would your dream day consist of?
Playing fetch then cuddling on the couch with my people.
