Hi, I’m Westley. I have a beautifully balanced face – light-and-cream coloring with a blaze of white down my face. I moved up here from Texas with a couple of my brothers and saw snow for the first time! I love the snow when the temperatures are a little warmer.
I’m just a puppy and I’m doing my best at potty training, and I think I’ll get it pretty quickly. I’m almost there! I do pretty well in my kennel. Sometimes I cry a little before bedtime, then I curl up, get cozy, and fall asleep like a good boy. At night I sleep in my kennel in a fluff of blankets, scattered with a toy or two. I love when I get a blanket over my kennel, it feels like I’m sleeping in a fort. At the moment my main focus is potty training, and I’m also working on the “sit” and “kennel” – I’m trying my hardest. I haven’t taken any training classes yet, but I’m sure I would love to – I’m all in if praise and attention from my human is part of it. My biggest motivation is attention from my humans, I love it! I’m learning that treats are pretty good, but right now I just love getting love from my humans.
I have two human foster siblings. The boy is 17 and the girl is 15. I’m not sure who loves who more! I haven’t had the privilege of meeting any cats yet. I live with two Save-A-Bull alumni dogs! I just know they can help make me an even better dog. Blanche is the older resident lady of the house, she is 9 years old, possibly a Boxer/Pitbull mix. Stanley is the younger man of the house at 5 years old. I love that Stanley still plays like a puppy! Stanley is quite a bit taller than Blanche, he is probably a Weimaraner/Pitbull mix. I am definitely more submissive when it comes to the resident dogs of the house. Those two are so much older and wiser than me. I love to run, tackle, and tumble when I play with my foster siblings!

Why are you the very best dog in the whole world?
I play with my whole heart, I cuddle like a professional, and I’ll love you more than anything. That’s my job, and I’m excellent at it!
What would your dream day consist of?
My day would be filled with play and naps! I love a good blanket curled up with someone I love. I haven’t had any outings yet, but I think I would really enjoy being out and about.
What general knowledge TV or movie character are you most like and why?
I’m like Dug from the movie Up. Pure joy, loyal heart, easily distracted, and loves love.
What are some of your favorite toys?
Stuffed animals to carry around, ropes for tug-of-war victories, and bones to chew very seriously. I love them all!
Play all day or cuddles and snoozes?
I’m a curious, playful puppy who’d happily zoom around for a bit – then curl up for cuddles right after. I give off a “play hard, snooze harder” kind of energy.
What makes your body wiggle and your tail wag harder than anything?
Reuniting with my humans even after a short separation.
