Hi, Iām Walter! I am a goofy, sweet, and charming boy with silly mismatched ears and gorgeous coloring. I joined Save-A-Bull as a stray from a local shelter. As a young adult dog, my exuberant and affectionate personality comes in a compact body. I have the cutest bunny hops when I greet you or am excited, have non-stop tail wags when you pet me, and thoroughly enjoy a romping game of fetch or tug-o-war!
I am kennel and potty trained! I have been working on my training ā I am a smart dog who knows "sit," "down," and "wait." I am working on my loose leash walking and I take treats very gently. I am learning to be confident and can get startled by unexpected and loud noises. I like to be near my people and will quietly sleep next to you while you work. I love it when you take breaks to give me pets and tell me that Iām a good boy. š
I also enjoy quiet kennel time, walks, and treats in my foster home. I like meeting new people, greeting other dogs respectfully, and would do well in a home with adults and older children who can manage my enthusiastic play style. I could live in a house with a fenced yard or condo/apartment as the only pet or with another well matched doggie.
I would make a wonderful companion for different households and am ready to find my forever home. The perfect family for me would enjoy watching me build confidence and blossom through training, enrichment, and a strong bond with you.
