Hello, my name is Togepi, my foster parents call me Terry. I have been having a lot of fun in my foster home! One of my favorite things to do is run! I love to run laps around the house to get all my crazy puppy energy out. When I go outside I try to run as fast as I can. Sometimes I have to stop and take a break with a stick I’ve found. I also love all toys! I love to chew bones and run around with tennis balls. After I've gotten my play in, I love to take a nap and snuggle. Although I can play hard, I'm still a great snuggle buddy.
I’ve been learning a lot of new things since I’ve come to my foster home. At first I didn’t like my kennel, but now I do really well in it. I sleep through the night in my kennel and wake up my foster parents in the morning when it is time to go out. Sometimes my foster parents have to leave the house for a little bit and I stay home in the kennel. My foster parents check on me through the puppy camera and they are so impressed that I usually am quiet and sleep the whole time they're gone. I have also been working very hard on my potty training, in no time I should be fully potty trained! I am also learning to “sit”. I haven’t perfected it yet but I am close. Most of the time, I come to my foster parents when they call me. They are very impressed with how fast I learn. I am so excited to learn more tricks from my forever family.
I love to play with the two big resident dogs. They don’t always want to play with me but I always love to try. I'm working on learning how to play gently with them, sometimes I just get so excited it's hard. Thankfully they're very patient with me and are helping me learn. There’s also a cat that lives here but he tries to stay away from me as much as possible, he doesn’t like the way I play with him. My foster parents are helping direct me with him and how to play nicely with him. I also love when the neighbor kids come to say “hi” to me. I love to get pets from them and give kisses in return! I would love to play all day with them if I could.
I’m so excited for my forever family to find me, I can’t wait! I’m looking forward to spending time playing with you, learning from you, snuggling with you, and of course getting treats from you. My foster parents say my forever family will be so lucky to have me, but I will also feel so lucky to have them. I would love for you to meet me and see if I’m the right fit for you!
