Hi, my name is Taro. I came up with my two brothers from Texas and I'm the tiniest boy in my litter of three. My foster dad says I look like a Tazmanian devil, but don't be fooled – I'm the mellow one of my litter! I have the prettiest hazel eyes and the cutest white boots on my feet. I love to wrestle with my brothers but I love a lap to snuggle on more than anything!
Since getting to my foster home in Minnesota, I've been working really hard on potty training. I'm still getting the hang of it, but my mom says I'm a smart pup! Plus I LOVE to be outside. I love having a yard to explore but I do get cold pretty quickly. It's my first spring in the midwest after all, so when I'm done playing, I love to get warm with my humans. I'm pretty good at sleeping through the night, but we usually go out to go potty once during the night. I sleep with my brothers right now but don't need snuggles to fall asleep, so I'm sure sleeping in a crate will be no big deal. Ideally you would just let me sleep with you but I know that's not for everyone! I'm very much a puppy so my foster mom has to keep things away from me or I will eat them. Shoes smell amazing so you may need to hide them from me!
I live with two little humans who are five and eight and I'm very gentle with them! I also live with two adult dogs who put up with my shenanigans surprisingly well. They're teaching me the ropes of being a good pup.
I love it at my foster home but my foster mom tells me my perfect family is out there waiting for me. I'd love a home with someone who works from home or spends a lot of time there. I really love snuggles and just want to be with my humans. I'd also love someone who will take me to training classes; there's so much I want to learn! Do you think I sound like your dream dog?
