Hello, I’m Sylvie. I have pretty blue-gray fur and wonderful face wrinkles. Some say I look like a velvet hippo. I snore, like really loud! I want to be by you as much as I can and like to give you my paw to hold. I was found as a stray. They say I look like I had some puppies and spent way too much time in a kennel.
I am potty trained! I will go into the kennel for a Kong with peanut butter, but I would rather snooze on the couch. My foster works from home and I am not kenneled, as I just sleep most of the day. I do sleep in my kennel at night. I don’t chew on people's things, or try to steal food off the counter. I am currently working on “watch me”, “off”, and “back.” I will sit for treats - I really love treats! I would love to take a training class, especially if there are treats involved.
As far as my foster mom knows, I haven’t met any kids or cats yet. I currently don’t live with other dogs, but I really wanted to play with the other dogs when I was at Animal Control.

Why are you the very best dog in the whole world?
I didn’t have a good start to my life but I really love having a couch to snuggle on and people to snuggle with. Watching me come out of my shell is something my forever home will love.
Give me a description of your dream forever family.
My ideal family would let me lay on the couch and give me pillows, blankies and lots of attention. They would love me unconditionally and have patience so I can be the best dog I can be. I think I would like a doggy sibling. I am still scared of new things and loud noises, and it would make me feel better to have another furry friend that I can learn from to know that things are okay.
What are some of your favorite toys?
I’m just learning how to play with toys. So far, I like stuffy squeaker toys, and I also like to de-stuff toys. That is so much fun!

Cuddles and snoozes.
What makes your body wiggle and your tail wag harder than anything?
I love morning time when I wake up and get to greet my foster and eat breakfast. I also love car rides!
What would your dream day consist of?
I would get lots of love, attention and treats. Maybe a car ride with treats!

Sylvie has a spay date on 6/6, so she can go to her forever home on 6/8. :)
