Hi, my name is Schmiddy. I have a big head and big heart too! I am 10 years young and my favorite thing to do is get snuggled up and take a nice long nap. I absolutely love meeting new people and instantly melting into their arms. Everyone loves my big head and gremlin noises!
I am fully potty trained, and when I go outside I do very well at going potty right away. I am working on loving my kennel but just want to be out with my foster dad. At night I sleep in my kennel outside my foster dad’s bedroom. I still don’t love it, as I would rather be in bed laying on top of everyone. Because of my older age, a short walk around the block absolutely tires me out – time for another nap!
In my foster home I live with two dogs – I don’t have a ton of interest in them because I’d rather get attention from my foster dad. I do get excited when they come by – they’re so nice! My humans are still working on figuring out my tendencies with other animals.
I would do best in a home where I am the only dog, or a household with non-dominant dogs and an experienced Pitbull owner. Given my separation anxiety, an apartment isn’t the place for me. I would also do best in a quiet home – loud noises and lots of activity can be stressful for me.
That being said, I would love to meet YOU and let you pet my big noggin. 🙂
