Hi, my name is Pepper! My foster parents call me the bearded lady. :) When I came from Alabama, they thought I was a boy and I was named after this weird radioactive turtle thing. But lo and behold, I am a girl! I got named for the pep in a greek salad instead. My siblings and I are so different. If you look closely at my pictures you will see I have something like a klingon beard! I have wiry and longer hair than my siblings. This just makes me very unique.
I have been doing so well with my potty training! Every morning I go like I am supposed to. Throughout the day I ask by going to the door, but those humans better catch me quick. I absolutely LOVE to play! I pounce around and slide on the hardwood floor. Ropes, a squeaky ball and my stuffed owl are my favorite toys to play with.
I love to play with my dog and cat siblings. Now that I am bigger it is super fun to wrestle and play tug with toys. My dog brother comes in hot and he makes me a little nervous. I am starting to learn how to play with him. Foster mom says I do very well at altering my play style depending who I am with. I am very respectful of my kitty friends space and when he decides he is done that is ok with me.
I truly love all food and am starting to understand that when I do something good I get these little treat things. They are awesome! I learned how to sit. I also know how to wait for my food! I am working on down and I am really starting to get it. I could spend all my time in the sun. Even though the snow was super fun to play in, I am glad the sunshine is here. Sometimes I like to trick the humans into thinking I need to potty. But I just want to go outside and run around. I really don't mind entertaining myself. I just want to sprawl out and snuggle with my owl or my foster parents when playtime is done.
