I've found my furever family!

Pepita

Oh hey! My name is Pepita! I was found in a puddle after a rain storm and was not properly cared for. The rescue thinks I spent most of my life in a tiny crate and wasn't fed well. My poor legs were cramped and bent like I had never left my crate. Now my legs are long and straight and I'm living the good life in my foster home. It's amazing what some love can do for a little gal! I have stunning gray and white fur and the most beautiful, piercing gray eyes. My foster mom says they look like pretty marbles! I am a little snuggle bug and love my people. I will paw at you to get a snuggle. I have white boots on my feet and a tiny white tip on my tail. My foster mom says I have the perfect pittie coloring!

I'm learning the ropes of being a house dog. I've been doing well with potty training. It helps that I have a big back yard to run in and mom is home all day to make sure I get out lots. I don't know a lot of commands yet but I love food so I should be easy to train. I do GREAT in my crate. I'll sleep in there all night (though I'd much rather be in your arms) and will whine if I need to go potty. I love all things chew toy, and I love all things stuffy toy. I just love toys! I'm not a super destroyer like some other pups, but I also have a pretty good supply of toys to keep me distracted.

I live with two human kids who are five and eight. They adore me and I adore them. I'm pretty good about leaving their toys alone, but sometimes I can't resist if they leave a toy on the floor. Kids toys smell SO GOOD! I haven't met a person I don't love. I also live with two big pitties and another younger foster pup. He and I are like peas and carrots! The other dogs have been teaching me how to behave and where to potty and just how to be a good pup.

I love my foster home but I would really love a forever home of my own. I'd love a family that wants to spend lots of time with me and take me to training. I want to please my people and I know that starts with training! I'd love a home with another dog to teach me how to behave. But mostly, I just want a home where my people will love me and give me snuggles when I need them. Do you have a spot on your couch for me? Or your bed? I would love to meet you and show you how sweet I can be!
