Hi, I’m Pearl. I'm a sweet, social, and snuggly puppy! I love going for walks and having zoomie sessions around the backyard. After I go on my mini-adventures (I'm still little), I love to snuggle up on the couch.
My foster family says I am a smart cookie! I'm doing well at learning new things like “sit” and “off." Speaking of cookies, I love all food and treats. Coupled with my smarts, I would flourish in a home where my family wants to teach me all the skills to be the best girl. I am catching on pretty quickly to going potty outside, but I'm still learning and sometimes forget when I am busy playing, so a patient family with structured potty breaks is going to help me learn. I do a lot in my kennel – eating, taking mid-day breaks with a yummy peanut butter kong, and sleeping overnight. Plus, it keeps me safe and out of trouble when my foster family is out of the house. I will sometimes whine a bit, but then settle down and rest. I sleep through the night in my kennel and have never had an accident in it.
I have spurts of play and enjoy my toys, and really enjoy playing and running in the yard with my doggy foster sister. My foster family says she's an "old lady" but I think she's the coolest and she is doing a good job of showing me how to be "appropriate" with other dogs and in the house. I really love snuggling with her! I also have a human foster sister who likes to play and snuggle with me. Have I mentioned snuggling yet? I LOVE it!
I also love meeting all the dogs and all the people. I will need training in this area because my foster family says that not all other dogs or people want to meet me and I jump to get their attention.
My ideal family will love to play and snuggle. They would enjoy teaching me how to be a good girl that can control my excitement when I meet new people and other dogs and help me fulfill my potential as a great dog! Could this be you?
