Hi, my name is Ned. I am a special guy with goofy charm and a super secret toofy smile I flash just for my family! I’m a happy boy with a lot of love to give – whether I’m wiggling when I see you in the morning or snoozing on the couch (on your lap, ideally!). I’ve got dark brown fur with cute white socks and super soft ears I LOVE for you to scratch. I’m curious about the world around me, and I like to take my time getting to know new things and people. Once I’m comfortable, I’m all in!
Overall, I am well-behaved and fully house-trained. If I could sit next to my foster mom all day, I’d sure be in heaven. I love going on walks but am happy to snooze all day while you work. I prefer to make new friends at my own pace, but once I do, I’m a loyal companion who loves to snuggle and give kisses!
I am good at commands and know “sit,” “kennel,” “stay,” “wait,” “no,” and “shake!” I’m working on listening while in the yard (uhh, have you seen those things called squirrels!?), and my manners while taking walks (again, squirrels!). I’m curious about strangers and other dogs, and I’m learning to be calm and polite on walks when I see them. I’m getting really good at “heel”. I hope my new forever home keeps working on my walking skills and I can continue to enjoy what I love most – being out in the world. After my walk, I keep watch out the window or sleep in my donut bed the rest of the day. Sometimes, I like to gleefully chew on a tennis ball.
I sleep in my kennel all night (but will sleep in the bed if you want!) and will settle down quickly when you leave. I love a good nap, especially with my favorite blankie.
What can I say, I’m a unique guy with quite the personality. If you’re the type who likes lots of cuddles and taking a stroll with lots of sniffs, I’m the love bug you’re looking for. A lifetime of kisses and snuggles is coming your way!
