Hi! My name is Murphy – my foster mom calls me Murfdog. I’m just a big, fun-loving puppy who is learning the ropes of being in a home! I currently live with a herd of big dogs and I love them all. I haven’t met any cats. I’ve been around kids and I liked them just fine.
I am doing great at this potty-training thing! I go to the door and paw to go out, I would be a good candidate for bell training. I am also learning about how to use my “inside voice.” Seems that barking about everything is not good manners and my foster mom says good manners are everything. She says that’s why we sit nicely and wait for our food to be set down before we eat (I can do this really well!) and that’s why we don’t jump on people (I am learning this one) and that’s why we don’t counter surf (I don’t do this one at all!).
I’ve been working on leash walking and I’m doing great! And kennel training is coming along nicely as well – I’m well on my way to being a GREAT dog! I would benefit from an obedience class as I am a fast learner and I love to please.
