Hi friends! My name is Moseley. I'm just the cutest little nugget of soft brown and white fur. I've been told I have pretty expressive eyes, adorable little paws and a joyful puppy personality. I love to follow my foster mom around the house, especially when she's in the kitchen! I arrived in Minnesota from Texas with my siblings and the cold weather has been quite the adventure. Brrrrrr!
I am getting pretty good at responding to my name and simple commands like “come” and “sit”. I haven't taken any structured training courses but I'd love to do that with YOU! I'm motivated by small training treats and lots of praise. I'm great at doing my business outside, especially my piddles, but I'm just a baby so I still have some accidents here and there. If I'm taken out consistently I do know that's when it's time to potty! My foster mom gives me kennel time every day. I can be a little vocal at first but I eventually quiet down and enjoy my alone time in my safe space. I like a nice puppy chew or other small toys and bones when I'm kenneled. I am also able to sleep in my kennel at night if that's something my forever home would prefer. Snuggling with other dogs and humans for a good snooze is my fave though. I tend to sleep with my foster humans and at least one other dog at night but have also spent good portions of a few nights sleeping in my kennel like a big boy.
My foster family is pretty big. I have my foster mom and dad and four human foster brothers. Their ages range from 18 to 7 and I love them all. I also live with my foster sister Ms Wiggles, who is a 75 lb. Dogo Argentino and my foster brother Hippo, who is a 32 lb. Bulldog mix. There are also two lizards whom I've met and a turtle who hangs out in his tank. I have no trouble getting along with the other pets who live here. And as for rodents, cats and birds my status for friendship is unknown, but I'm easy going so I don't see it being an issue. Plus, as I mentioned, I'm a small little guy right now and I'm a good age and size for introductions with your pets and young kids if you have any. On the flip side I'm pretty positive I'd be happy as your one and only, too. More attention for me!
I think my favorite thing to do with my dog foster siblings is snuggle or nap. I always find Ms Wiggles and snuggle up to her. I may nip a bit while playing but it's typical puppy behavior and my foster mom says I'm a good boy when she redirects me. I'm pretty easily moved from one activity to the next and I'm really easy going about most things. I am quiet and unbothered by car rides. I'm not overly aggressive regarding toys or possessions, food/treats or human interaction. I really just go with the flow. I do like my humans, especially my foster mom. Sometimes I'm a little vocal when she disappears on me, but I'm getting better at knowing she's just in the bathroom and I can find another human to play with. 🙂
I'm super excited to meet you and find my most perfect forever family!
