Hi, I’m Molitor (named after Minnesota Twins legend Paul Molitor)! I’ve got the coolest brindle spots around, and I keep hearing that I’m quite the handsome guy. I made the trip all the way from Texas with my siblings, and let me tell you – I am loving life in Minnesota so far!
One of my favorite things is exploring the fenced yard. There are so many exciting smells out there! I take my sniffing duties very seriously because every blade of grass has a story to tell. Plus, all that investigating helps tire me out after a busy day of puppy adventures.
My foster family describes me as a gentle, sweet boy. I love belly rubs, playtime, and spending time with my people. Whether I’m wrestling with my siblings, following my foster parents around to see what they’re up to, or soaking up attention, I’m happiest when I’m part of the action. They’re doing a great job teaching me how to be the best boy, and I’m doing my best to learn.
Speaking of being a good boy, I’m pretty proud of my kennel skills. At night, I happily sleep for eight straight hours like a champion. During the day, my kennel is my cozy little retreat where I can relax, chew on toys, and enjoy a good nap. I actually like having my own space! My potty training is also going really well. I know outside is the place to do my business, and I’ll head toward the door or give my people a look when I need to go. Best of all, I’ve never had an accident in my kennel.
Right now, I live with my brother Winfield and two foster dog siblings, Ruth and Murphy. The older dogs seemed a little intimidating at first, but every day I get more comfortable around them. My favorite playmate is definitely Winfield because we're the same size and have the best time chasing each other around the yard, sharing toys, and practicing our puppy wrestling moves. When I meet new dogs, I tend to be pretty easygoing and submissive. Honestly, I'm much more interested in making friends than causing any trouble.
As for humans? Well, let's just say it takes me about five seconds to decide that your lap is my lap. I absolutely LOVE to snuggle. If there were Olympic medals for cuddling, I'd be bringing home the gold.
I'm still a young puppy, so there are lots of things left for me to learn. My foster parents plan to teach me commands like "sit," "stay," and "place," and soon I'll start practicing my leash skills too. I'm a smart boy, I'm very food motivated, and I think learning sounds like a lot of fun – especially if treats are involved. I haven't met any cats or children yet, but I'm looking forward to new experiences as I continue growing and building confidence.
My ideal home is one that has time to help me continue learning all about being a great family dog. Another dog to show me the ropes would be wonderful, but I could also thrive as an only dog if it means getting all the love and attention for myself. I'm curious, brave, affectionate, and always ready for my next adventure.
If you're looking for a gentle puppy with a big heart, excellent snuggling skills, and some pretty impressive brindle spots, I think we should meet. I can't wait to find my forever family and start making memories together! 🐾❤️
