Hi, my name is Mesa. I have adorable white mitten paws, floppy ears and a fluffy tail. I like to hop around like a bunny when I am playing with my toys, and when I get really wild I get the zoomies and run around the kitchen and living room! I came here from New Mexico to find my forever home. My mom is a pitbull/mix and my dad is a boxer – they had a litter of seven, but only five of us came to Minnesota.
I am doing very well on potty training! If I have to go out and go potty I use the bells on the door to let my foster parents know. I am working on loving my kennel. My foster parents are working on it with me by playing kennel games with me and it is super fun! At night I sleep in my kennel in my foster parents bedroom. I have mastered “sit” and am working on “stay”, “place”, “come”, and “down”. I am also working on recall, impulse control, and focus. My biggest motivators are treats and toys!
In my foster home I live with a 4-year-old little girl, a 13-year-old boy with special needs and a 14-year-old girl who loves to snuggle with me. I have not met any cats yet. I also live with three dogs – a 2-year-old large male Pitbull, he is a huge couch potato; a 10-year-old large female Pitbull, and she doesn’t like it when I get in her face but she usually walks away; and a 4-year-old medium female Pitbull mix, who loves to play with me even when I get crazy with her. I can be both dominant and submissive – when I am scared I can be dominant, when I am comfortable I will be submissive. I love walks with other friends and playing tag!

My stuffies and my hard chew toys! I have a kangaroo I love playing with and my little racoon with a crinkly tail.

Play all day but once in a while I love a good snuggle!

Playing with friends!
