I've found my furever family!

Manicotti

We're happy to tell you that Manicotti has a new furever home.

Hello my name is Manicotti, and I am a sensitive soul. I am very shy and can come across as timid and fearful until I am comfortable. The outside can be very scary to me, so sometimes I need to run in the house to feel safe or cuddle with my foster mom. Once I warm up, I am the biggest, snuggliest lover you will ever know!

I am doing well at potty training, you just have to watch my cues and take me out regularly. I’m just going to be honest – I love food! Dog food, treats, human food, things that I think are food but are not, I love it all! I have no manners when I see food, so this is something I’m working on. I definitely need training (what puppy doesn’t!), but I am obviously food motivated, so training should be easy! I am not a fan of my kennel, but we’re working on it. I am quiet when I am alone, but the second I hear the garage door open, I make noise so my foster mom doesn’t forget about me. 🙂

I love to cuddle with my foster mom – I love to touch her face-to-face when I am feeling insecure, it helps me feel better.

I get along well with dogs, kids, and cats! In my foster home I live with the resident dog and my littermate brother, Fettuccine. Fetti and I love hard and play hard! It can get pretty loud in the house sometimes because I love to bark and growl at Fetti and make as much noise as possible, but it's all in good fun.

I would do well in a home with a companion friend, but it’s not a requirement. Apartment and downtown living aren’t for me, as I get a little barky with outside noises. My foster mom is helping me work through this.

If you are looking for a snuggly pal, then I am your man!
