Hello, my name is Luxor. Brrr! My sisters and I came up from Texas and I am still trying to get used to this white stuff and paw freezing temperatures. My foster mom says that my desert sand coloring and romantic eyes are my best features. I am really just a lover boy who loves to have my chest petted, and if you stop I start to squirm as why would you want to stop giving me attention? My favorite pastime is spending quality time with the family cuddled up with a chew toy and lots of pets.
My foster mom likes to brag about what a good boy I am since I have not had a potty accident inside since I joined the family. I sleep through the night in my kennel, and will speak up if I need to go outside while I am resting. I love treats, food is a great motivator for me. I am learning “sit” and “down” (for laying down). I know what “no” means, and I am good about not getting into things that are not meant for dogs to get into (mainly mom's plants).
I am currently living with my foster mom, adult brother and foster dog sister. I am a little shy at first and take a bit to warm up to people and other dogs. I get along great with my foster dog sister, who allows me to coexist on the dog lounge with her because I don't pester her like other pups have done before me. I have not met any other small animals yet, but my foster mom doesn't think I have the prey drive as I tend to be rather timid in my interactions so far.
My perfect home would be one that provides lots of quality time, as I love to cuddle, explore and play with my family. With it being so cold outside, I tend to just do my business outside and run back in, though I did love exploring all the fun plants in the sleeping garden when it was nice outside. I am pretty good with leash walking, so would love for my family to take me out and show me off. Though I love having another dog around, I entertain myself well with my favorite toys, squeaky stuffies, super chewer toys and bones.
