Hello! My name is Luther! My siblings and I were all named after characters from the Umbrella Academy. My nine siblings, dog mom, and I drove all the way up to Minnesota from New Mexico just so we could find our forever families. How cool is that?! I’m not gonna lie, the drive was brutal…. but when I got here some nice people cleaned us up and sent us to a fabulous home where we could stay until we were able to be split up! Once we were old enough, we all got split up and went off to our new foster homes into pairs. My brother and I scored a sweet house with two foster parents and three foster dog siblings to show us the ropes.

I love living in this house! My favorite thing to do is hang out with my bro and my foster mom. I love running around like crazy with my brother and attacking him. I will chase him in circles all over the room for 20 minutes straight. When I’m not doing that, I want my foster mom to cuddle with me or let me lay on her lap when she’s working. My brother is starting to play with the big dogs. I don’t like that as much yet, they are still a little intimidating – but I’m getting there! My foster mom is my cheerleader and she makes me feel great every time I play with the big dogs. She says stuff like “you’re doing great sweetie!” and then I’m like “yeah you’re right mommy I’m the best – thanks for the reminder”.

As of now my brother and I are sleeping in a dog bed in a nice xpen. It’s a pretty sweet set up if you ask me! I love taking my naps in there and barely ever cry. I think I'll have some separation anxiety from my bro when I leave and have a new sleeping arrangement, so I hope my family is patient with me while I adjust.

We are working on this potty training thing. The lady says I’m a quick learner. I even wait by the door occasionally when it’s time to go out! Sometimes if we’re outside playing and she wants me to come in, I turn around and go back to the grass to do my business! My foster mom says this is a good sign and says that I am “so good at everything I do,” but I don’t know what the heck she’s talking about. It’s going to take some time but I know I will be good at this potty training thing with lots of practice and positive reinforcements.

If you’ve made it this far in my bio I am sure you’re thinking that I sound like the whole package. And according to my foster mom, you’d be right!! But you have to remember I am just a baby. I do all the baby puppy things and am just trying to figure out what the heck is going on. I use my mouth a lot to play and I have very sharp puppy teeth. My foster mom is working with me on not biting but I think that this, and other puppy behaviors, will take time and consistency to learn.

I am so excited to meet my forever family. I would love to live with people who are willing to work with me on all kinds of training so that I can grow up to be the best dog I can be. I know my foster siblings have gone to some training classes and I think that sounds like so much fun! I would love a family who wants to cuddle with me, spoil me, take me on adventures, and nurture my sweet sensitive side. Do you think that you want to adopt me and give me the best life?!
