Hi! I’m Kourntey, one of the three girls of the Kardashian litter. My beautiful black coat, stylishly accompanied by white accents on my paws, neck, and face make me stand out in a crowd, but my foster mom says her favorite feature are my forehead wrinkles. They make me especially cute. I also have a crazy bend in my tail like a small lightning bolt, maybe it will give me super-puppy-powers someday!
Right now, I’m living with my foster parents, two sisters, a brother, a doggie brother (a Save-A-Bull alumni) and a cat. I love to play with my doggie brother, but he runs way too fast for my tree trunk legs! My foster mom says I’m super sweet, with a bit of spunk, and am a natural born explorer. I love to explore the yard for my favorite thing – sticks. It doesn’t matter the size – big, small, thick or thin, if there is a stick to be found – I will find it!
I’m working hard on all of the necessary puppy business. Because I’m just starting my potty training journey, my family is working really hard on getting me to go potty outside. I always go right after I eat and get out of my crate, but exploring takes priority over pottying when I’m outside, so it can take some time for me to finish my business. I’m not the biggest fan of my crate, and am vocal about it – but after a couple of minutes I settle in, especially if I have something fun to chew on. I’m super motivated by treats, and have already mastered “sit.” I can’t wait to learn all the tricks of the dog trade.
I can’t wait to find my forever home! I haven’t been around young kids, but think my puppy energy would match well with all family types. My foster family loves my curious nature and funky wobble when I run. I could be great in a home with other animals, or as the solo center of attention. Either way, I know with love and attention I can be the best dog ever!
