Hi, I’m Kenna! I have pretty red fur with white socks, and beautiful hazel eyes. I have a bit of an underbite and look like I am pouting, even though I am a happy little girl. I love to play with my toys but I also really love to snuggle. My foster mom says that I snore really loud for such a petite girl!
I am potty trained and ring the bells to go outside – I love to be outside, I would stay out there all day if I could! I sleep in my crate at night – I still protest a little because I would rather be snuggling with my foster mom, but I am not allowed to sleep in the bed. I do love snuggles on the sofa with people though. I have mastered “sit”, and I am learning “watch” and “off”. I love getting treats and would love to learn more tricks to impress my forever family. Training classes would be fun because I would get lots of attention and learn new things. My favorite toys are tennis balls, and one of my goals is to get two in my mouth at once! I also like what one of my balls gives me if I roll it just right – my foster says it is a puzzle, and I got the hang of it super fast because I am smarty pants. I don’t know what they are talking about – I don't wear pants but I think it means I am a good girl!
I’m not sure how I am around kids, but I may be a little scared of them at first. I am learning not to jump when I get excited, so I might accidentally knock down little ones that are learning to walk. I don’t live with any cats, but I saw one on a walk and thought it was angry at me and I got scared. I am the only dog at my foster home.
Most of the time I am content to snooze on a dog bed or chew on my toys. Sometimes I do get the zoomies and I am super fast and fly through the air or just tuck my butt and zoom! I am learning to walk nicely on a leash. They make me wear this funny collar on my head but I go along with it. I do get scared of loud noises, strangers, cats or dogs that seem like they are angry with me. I also get scared when meeting new people, but once I learn they are nice and not going to hurt me I will be their friend in no time.

I am very smart and inquisitive, as well as affectionate.

They would teach me all kinds of new things – like how to be the best Kenna I can be. They also would help me build my confidence and help me learn that not all new things in life are scary.
What are some of your favorite toys?
Tennis balls or any kind of ball! Sometimes I throw them for myself but I like it when people throw them for me even more. I also like to play tug-o-war.
Play all day or cuddles and snoozes?
Don’t make me pick, I love both!
What would your dream day consist of?
A warm summer day where I can stay outside all day long exploring my yard and sleeping in the sun. At night I want to have a tasty meal and then curl up with my family on the sofa to snuggle.
