Hi, I’m Isabel! I’m a young pup with big, expressive ears, a little docked tail, the cutest freckles on my snout, and super soft fur. I came from Texas where I was found as a stray, all by myself – no siblings, just me being brave and curious.
Potty training? We’re working on it, and I’m getting better every day. Sometimes I get so excited meeting new people that I tinkle just a tiny bit, but I’m learning fast. I’m already kennel trained, which means I sleep through the night like a pro and have never had an accident in there. I’m still new to this whole home life thing, so we’re just starting to practice basic commands like “sit” and “come.” But don’t worry – I’m super motivated by treats, toys, and attention, so I’m sure I’ll be a quick learner!
I live with two humans, another playful foster puppy, and two older, wiser resident dogs. I LOVE playing chase and wrestling with my puppy buddy, but I’m very polite if the older dogs aren’t in the mood. I met a cat once (it was in a crate) – I was curious but also a little scared. I’ve also met toddlers and little kids out in public and thought they were great! I even rocked puppy yoga – being passed around to strangers and playing with other puppies didn’t bother me one bit. I’m gentle, friendly, and just happy to be part of the fun!
My dream home? One with love, kindness, and maybe a few playmates – human or dog, I’m not picky! I’ve got a nice balance of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. I’m still getting used to walks, but I did really well meeting people and dogs at breweries. Whether you’re into weekend adventures or couch cuddles – or both – I’ll be right by your side. I’m a little shy at first, but once I know I’m safe, my affectionate, goofy self shines through.
