Hello, my name is Cookie. I'm an adorable mix of Husky and Pitbull. I am just a big playful puppy, but don't worry, I'm a gentle giant who loves to cuddle and snuggle most of all! Although I have some crazy husky puppy energy, I keep it under control and I am an amazing listener. My foster parents were so surprised at how well I listened right away! Although I get my bursts of spunky energy, I'm normally pretty mellow and easy going.

My foster parents tell me I'm very smart and a great learner! I've already mastered “sit” and I'm doing great with my potty training. I'm still working on learning how to communicate with my foster parents that I need to go out, but I should have it down in no time! My foster parents sometimes have to leave me in the kennel. At first I was pretty unhappy, but then when they eventually came back home, I realized they weren't leaving me! I've made lots of progress since then and I'm doing great now. I lay down and sleep and wait quietly for them to get back.

I live with two other dogs in my foster home. At first I was a little timid around them and I needed a little bit of time to warm up, but now I love playing with them. I love to chase and wrestle with them! I'm still learning to play gently all the time. Sometimes I get too excited and play a bit too rough, but my foster parents remind me to play gently and I listen very well. I also live with a cat and I find him super interesting! Sometimes I get a little too excited to see him and I want to chase him. My foster parents tell me he doesn't like that and not to chase him, so I listen and find something else to do. I only want to play with him, not hurt him, but my foster parents say he doesn't play the same way I do. They say If I were to live with cats, I would do best with dog savvy cats. I haven't met any kids yet, but my foster parents think I probably would do best with kids who are older and comfortable around big dogs. My size and energy could be a bit too much for little ones.

I am a huge snuggler! I love cuddling up on the couch or in bed with my foster parents. I love to be as close as I can to them. I'm still trying to get the concept of personal space. My foster parents tell me that even though I've mastered bear hugs, not everyone is a fan of them, but I just don't quite understand that yet – I love giving hugs and snuggles! I hope someday I'll be able to sleep in my bed with my family at my forever home. That would be a dream come true!

My foster parents also said it's very important to remind you that even though I don't look like it, I'm still a puppy and I still have more growing to do! Although it's hard to say exactly how big I'll be, I'll most likely be an extra large dog, and one with quite a bit of energy as well. So, I will need to live in a house, I would not make a good apartment dog.

I'm so excited to find my forever family! I can't wait for all the fun we're going to have. I would love to meet you and see if we're the perfect fit for each other!
