Hi, I’m Zulu! I’m a Pitsky mix with one blue eye, one brown eye, and an adorable little underbite that makes everyone smile. I like to think of myself as the best of both worlds – the sweet, playful heart of a Husky wrapped up in the sturdy, lovable package of a Pittie.
My foster family calls me the perfect work-from-home buddy because I’m calm, quiet, and happy to hang out while you do your thing, as long as you remember to sprinkle in plenty of attention. I’m a bit of a lovebug – belly rubs, back scratches, and even a paw shake if you’re lucky. I know exactly how to ask for affection in my own special, endearing way.
When it comes to play, I’m a fetch champion and a true diva – I love being the star of the show! I get super excited to meet new people, but I’m learning to be patient until I’m given the okay to say hello. I’m fully potty trained, but every once in a while I might have a tiny leak — just a little quirk my future family should know about.
I’m eager to please and already know lots of tricks – “sit,” “lay down,” “paw,” “gentle,” “turn,” and “inside.” I’m motivated by toys, but let’s be real, food is my number one love. I’d thrive in a home where I can keep learning and growing every day.
A few things about me: I adore outdoor adventures (just not in the summer heat), I have a big prey drive (so no cats or small animals), and I’d do best as your one-and-only dog. I prefer calm, respectful interactions, so no young kids, please.
I may have a few quirks, but I have so much love to give to the right person.
