Hi! I am on a medical hold. It is suspected that I have Demodex mange. The folks at Save-A-Bull are taking care of me. I was found as a stray.
Gracie was found stray with a name tag (no numbers) so we know her name and so does she. She is an absolute lovely girl who will be a beautiful grey or grey brindle when she's feeling better. She's a big girl, maybe 65-70 lbs best guess, and about 8 years old. She has the softest eyes that melted me through the phone before I ever met her. She is calm, gentle, sits when you talk to her and lowers her big head hoping for some gentle pets. She would love to he a sun dog. When she is taken outside she tries to convince the staff she's unable to walk so she can sit or lay in the sun for just a few minutes longer.
She had two spectacular dog tests today, one with another female pittie no less. She sniffed, allowed herself to he sniffed, then walked off to go lay in the sun, ignoring the other dog's adorable play bows and interest.
Her skin issue is certainly a long term issue that hasn't been treated by a vet in at least a long time. She is getting antibiotics so it should help her feel better soon. She smells horrible bc of all the yeast, but we can't help touching her because she so desperately hoping for a few gentle pets.
