Hi, my name is Gideon but my foster parents call me Deon! I came to the Save-A-Bull family all the way from New Mexico. The journey to get here was challenging for me so I was very scared and nervous at first, but I warmed up quickly because my foster parents and doggy sibling were patient with me and helped me feel comfortable and loved. Now I LOVE playing all day with my foster family!

I love chewing on bones, and napping on the couch. The snow doesn’t bother me at all and I am getting the hang of potty training pretty fast. My foster parents are obsessed with me and my quirks and say I’m one of the cutest and dorkiest pups they have ever met! They love watching me trot around on our walks, laughing at how cute and silly I am, and taking goofy pictures of me. I’ve got a lot of energy and have gone for a few jogs – I love to run and it feels like I can keep going and going! But afterwards I love to crash and cuddle on the couch. My fosters are always talking about how I’m a really well-mannered, easy puppy and don’t chew on anything I’m not supposed to 🙂 (and rarely make a peep!). I’m also doing pretty well with crate training, especially if I’ve had time to run and play beforehand.

I’m a curious soul and I have a really wiggly little body – my attention moves a mile a minute and I get very excited for treats! So I need some patience with training, but am eager to spend quality time learning – food and dedicated attention will motivate me big time! I’m so ready to keep learning how to be the best dog I can be. I still get a little shy around new people and haven’t met many kids, but I know with patience and practice I will be a social butterfly!

I sleep like a rock right in the middle of my foster parents every night and don’t move until they make me get out of bed to go outside. I love cuddling in bed with them and rolling around, stretching, and giving little kisses. A few cats live at my foster home and I wish they would want to play with me! Sometimes I get a little too excited with them but redirect really well.

Overall, I want someone who wants to play with me, show me love and patience, and can be my best friend/companion day in and day out. A doggy sibling would be nice to show me the ropes and help me feel comfortable in new environments. I know I’ll be a loyal and fun part of your family and I can’t wait to meet you!
