Hi there and welcome to my profile! My name is Frenchie but my foster mom calls me Frannie. I’m an adorable little pocket pittie with the cutest underbite and big, pointy ears. I’m about seven months old and I’m looking for the perfect furever home. Will you be the home for me?
I’m a friendly cuddle bug and love to play with toys and a good game of tug. My foster mom thinks I have great fetching potential as I’m a quick runner (in fact, I run so quick that I have to slide to stop myself!). I also love to make big hops from the ottoman to the couch. I can usually entertain myself with my toys or chewing on Nylabones while my foster mom is working but I do ask her to sit on her lap once in a while. I’m a great passenger princess and love to look out the window or fall asleep if the ride is really smooth.
I’m great at potty training if on a schedule, although it does take me a while as I like to look around at who’s coming and going or what that noise was. I’m also mostly crate trained. I will cry and bark in the beginning but will settle once my mom talks to me through her camera. I’m currently working on some training with my foster mom. I’ve mastered “sit”, “down” and “touch”. I’ve also mastered waiting for my mom to give me the signal to start eating (I got confused and thought my foster mom wanted me to be in a down position while waiting but hey, a wait is a wait! 😉). Other things I’m working on are “spin”, “shake” and “heel”. I’m also working on leash training. I do okay while sniffing around to go potty but once I’m done I pull to get back inside – this white stuff is freezing on my paws!
I’m people-friendly but I am a little weary of men. However, once I get to know them I’m more than happy to cuddle and play with them! I’m also great with other dogs and love to play.
