Hi there! My name is Freddy, and I'm a young pup with irresistible puppy-dog eyes and cute pink specks on my nose. I make the cutest grunting noises – especially when I’m playing with my toys or snoozing away, and snuggling is my absolute favorite. I’ll happily nap on your lap, and those under-ear scratches are pure bliss!
I’m almost fully potty trained! Accidents rarely happen these days because I’m a quick learner and I know how to let my foster parents know when it’s time to go. I already know “sit” and “come” (especially if there’s a treat involved – I’m very treat-motivated). I go into my kennel easily and don’t have separation anxiety when left alone. At bedtime, I settle into my kennel quickly with my snuggle puppy, and I’m good about not going potty in there.
I live with my foster family and their pups, and I absolutely love playing with my foster pup siblings. I recently discovered snow, which has made playtime even more fun! I’m still teething but if I start chewing on something I shouldn’t, I’m easily redirected. I haven’t had a chance to meet any cats yet, but I’ve done great in social settings like pet stores and breweries. I’m super friendly and love going up to everyone including children, adults, and other dogs of all sizes! I’m especially gentle and curious when meeting toddlers.
I’m dreaming of a forever home where I get lots of attention. I’d love another dog to play with, but I’d also be happy as the only dog so long as I get plenty of love and playtime.
