I'm ready for my new family!

I'm Available

Hello! My name is Flower, my family calls me “Flo”. I had a rough start; I was found in a snow bank during the brunt of a Minnesota cold snap at 3-4 months old. BUT, you wouldn’t know that now! I came into my foster family with nothing but playful energy and hugs to give! My floppy ears and button nose help me to wiggle my way into your heart. Who can resist a face like this? My foster mom tells me that I am the smartest and sweetest girl!

I am a quick learner and in a very short time I have learned I don’t have to rush for my food, I can wait patiently with lady-like manners. I know “sit”, “down” and I am a ROCKSTAR at the “come” command (there’s almost always a treat on the other side of “come”). I’m now learning new things too – like ringing a bell to go outside for potty breaks. It’s brand new and inconsistent but we celebrate every victory and I love celebrating! I am working on walking on a leash, but there is so much to see and smell outside with the snow gone. I love to stop and watch and listen to the birds when we are walking.

I am full of playful puppy energy! I haven’t been around small kids but I love meeting new people. I struggle to stay on all fours, but I just need a little more time with this. Everyone wants to play with me, and I love to play, play, play! I especially love to wrestle with my doggo roommate, she’s a 1-year-old, 65 lb. AmStaff.

I had a rough start with navigating the great outdoors at such a young age and then some setbacks with my health, but I was a champ through it all. I have more spirit and smiles than any puppy you’ve seen! C’mon let me show you – are you ready to be my new best friend?

Flower was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy Disorder (HOD), an orthopedic developmental disorder that can cause limping, pain, and swelling of a dog's joints. Flares up of HOD are most common in juvenile dogs and once a dog is full grown symptoms typically, though not always, resolve. At this time, Flower is in remission and doing well. She has no restrictions regarding activity, play level, or diet. If you are interested in adopting Flower, the Save-A-Bull vetting team is happy to discuss her past treatment with you and direct you to educational resources for HOD.
