Hi!! My name is Ferris (aka Ferris-Wheel from the MN State Fair litter). 🙂 I was found on a South Dakota reservation with my mom and three other siblings. We all had really bad mange so we were all super itchy, uncomfortable, and hungry when we got to our foster home. My foster people took such good care of us – giving us medication, rubbing coconut oil on our bodies several times a day, and giving us all the love and patience we needed. It felt so good to know we were getting better! Now that we are all clear of the mange (and all of our hair has grown back), I am ready to find my forever home!

I am still at the same foster home with one of my sisters. Here, I have a big dog foster sibling, and there are some cats running around too. I want to play with the cats so bad but I am good with redirecting. I play with my sister and foster sister all day long. I love to snuggle and play with my foster people and siblings (my favorite is when I get to snuggle with my foster mom in bed). They are my best best friends and love to carry me around like a baby!

My foster people love my kind demeanor, how independent I already am, my nose polka dots and marking, my sweet innocent eyes, and how my one ear flops more than the other. They always say I would make any family so, so, so happy! I have already met several kids of all sizes and do great with them and all the other dogs I have met. I’m doing really great with potty training and crate training. I loooove being outside! Sometimes I am the last dog outside and I just like to lay on the dog bed sun bathing and looking around!

I’m looking for a family who will be patient with me as I learn the ropes. I hope I get to go to fun training classes so I can learn the basics or even some cool tricks. Really all I want is a family to love me and help me be the best dog I can be! Having a human to cuddle with and trust is also a must – another dog would be a pretty awesome bonus because I have had so much fun learning and playing with my big foster sibling. Do you think you could be my new family? I can’t wait to meet you!
