Hi, my name is Ferris! I am a dynamic and sweet-as-can-be Pitbull mix, with the cutest big floppy ears and nose speckles. I have been through quite a journey as a Save-A-Bull foster after being returned to the rescue due to no fault of my own. I am very happy being back with my original foster parents and dog and cat foster siblings.
I may be small in stature but I am big in personality. I am always ready for a walk, jog, or run, and of course some playful romping around. I am a hoppy, and active girl! I am very serious about getting some good sniffs in too – when I find a good smell I need to lay my whole body down and really figure out what I’m smelling!
When I’m ready to relax and unwind, my sweet and gentle nature is unmatched. I’m so happy snuggled up close to a human or another dog and am eager to please. I get pretty excited to meet new dogs and could work on controlling my excitement, but I really am so sweet and gentle once my initial excitement passes.
My new home is somewhere that has another dog to play with and show me the ropes. A playful part of my personality comes out with other dogs and that spark and comfortability is really important to my well-being. I would love a family that will put in the time to understand me and my story and is ready to give me the attention and care that I know I deserve to get to know me. I love being with my people all the time and I’m also great with kids. My foster parent has a lot of nieces and nephews and they just take my leash and off we go!
I am almost two years old, and I know I have so much more I am capable of learning! I would benefit from some dedicated training so I can be the best dog ever. The sky's the limit for how smart, agile, resilient, and eager I am.
I know I deserve the best forever family, is that you?
