Hi, my name is Emerie and man am I a cutie, or so I have been told. I have the best little spots on my face and legs and some darn cute eyebrows that always make me look surprised! I really love new adventures and getting surprises so I guess that is appropriate. I am super sweet and a little reserved but when I get going there is no stopping my happy dance!!
I am a little bit shy at first with dogs and I like to seek comfort from the people around me. I really love people so much and sometimes I just go snuggle with my foster moms even when all the other dogs are playing. But I can still rough house with the best of them when I want to! I love toys and chasing the other dogs around. I have also met my foster family's cats and I think they are very curious things, but I listen like a good puppy when they hiss at me.
I really love being around kids too, my human foster brothers are one and two and they love to pet me and hug me, and I love to chase them around while they ride their toys. I am still learning the difference between kid toys and dog toys (gosh they are similar) but I am a good girl if I accidentally take the wrong one and my foster mom tells me “no”. I also listen to other dogs really well if they grump at me and I walk away to play with someone else.
I am getting pretty good in my kennel because I am a very smart lady and I sleep overnight really well. I am starting outside potty training and learning fast, my foster moms tell me I am better than lots of puppies my age. I know how to “sit” but I'm still learning to walk on a leash, I don't like that silly thing hanging on my neck. 🙂
