Hi, I’m Dusty. I have the prettiest eyes and the cutest ears! I came from New Mexico with my siblings so the cold and snow is new to me. My humans say I’ll get used to it.
I’m doing well with kennel training. I sleep in my kennel at night (although I prefer to be in the big bed) and when the humans are gone. I’m working on potty training. The humans keep taking me outside but it’s cold out there! I prefer to use puppy pads. I’m learning “sit,” “down” and “no.” I’m motivated by food and treats. I like to play with balls, stuffed toys and chew on bones. I would love to take a puppy training class, maybe you can take me?
I live with my foster mom, three foster siblings and two resident cats. I love all people and don’t pay too much attention to the cats. I don’t live with any other dogs right now but did great with them before I moved here. I’d love to have someone to play with someday.
My foster mom says I have energy for days! My dream forever home would be an active person or family that would take me for walks and give me space to play all day. I enjoy cuddling on the couch or in the human beds for short naps, then I’m ready to go again. I would love to meet you!
