Hello, my name is Dottie and I bet you can guess why! As you can see in my pictures, I have unique coloring. I’m mostly white with a black spot on the top of my head and near my tail, but what I think really makes me stand out is my polka dotted ears and belly.
My favorite things are cuddles and belly rubs! The moment I see you sit down, it's game time, or should I say cuddle time. I’m learning that I’m a pretty easy-going pup, whatever you want to do is what I want to do. If you’re in the mood to lounge around and watch a movie, so am I! If you’re in the mood to play in the yard or go for a morning stroll, guess what? Me too!
I came all the way from Texas to find a home and family of my own. I love everyone I meet and I just know we are going to be best friends. My foster family says I am the sweetest most well-behaved puppy they have ever seen.
Not to brag, but I’m super smart as well! I’m already potty trained and I’m good at asking to go out when I need to. I also sleep through the night in my kennel and I am quickly learning basic commands. My foster family says I respond well to “leave it”, “no” and “down”, especially for a young pup.
I like to spend my days playing with my foster friend Lucy, she’s a 50-pound pitty. We wrestle, run around the yard, and play my favorite game of tug-of-war pretty much all day long. Even though I like to play a lot, I quiet down easily. Lucy also has a very small sister, Lola – she’s a 5-pound Chihuahua. I quickly learned I need to respect her space and play gentle with her. I also learned the same with cats – I have only met them briefly but I give them space just like my tiny Chihuahua friend. I don’t live with any kids but when I go on walks, I do love to meet them!
Ultimately, I’m just a down to earth girl who would make a great side kick; and while I could go on and on about how great of a pup I am, I think I’ll just have to let you see for yourself! So, what do you say – will you be my new best friend?
