Hello, my name is Cynthia, and I’m a very sweet, soft-hearted little girl who’s just learning how wonderful life can be. I came to rescue from a not-so-great situation, but now I’m discovering what it feels like to be safe in a real home – and I’m loving it more every day.
I currently live with both dogs and cats, and I do great with everyone. I’m gentle and respectful, even when I really want to make friends. (I’ve tried to play nicely with the cats, but they don’t seem very interested – I’ll keep practicing my polite manners.)
I’m doing amazing with potty training and almost never have accidents. I’m really proud of myself! Kennel training is still a work in progress, though. I spent a lot of my early life in a wire kennel with my siblings, so kennels can still feel scary to me. I’m a bit of an escape artist right now, but with patience, positive training, and a cozy setup, I know I’ll keep getting better.
I enjoy going for walks, especially when I’m bundled up – I’m definitely a freeze baby and need my jacket and boots when it’s cold! Once I’m warm and comfortable, I’m happy to explore the world at my own pace.
My very favorite thing, though, is cuddling! I love curling up with my people and snuggling close to other dogs. I also love gentle playtime with my dog friends – having a confident canine buddy really helps me feel safe and brave.
I can be shy when I first meet new people, but I warm up pretty quickly once I know I’m safe. A calm, patient home – especially one with another friendly dog – would help me continue to build confidence and blossom into the happy little companion I’m meant to be.
Most of all, I’m dreaming of a forever family who will love me, give me time to grow, and never get tired of cuddles. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a big heart, I might just be your girl. 🐾💗
