Hello!  Thanks so much for clicking into my profile. My name is Crackle and I’m about four months old. I’m looking for my forever home – want to see if we’ll be the perfect match?  Well, please go ahead and read more about me below!

I’m mostly black with the cutest pointed white mask on my nose. I also have both clear and black nails.  Fun fact – I was pretty good at letting my foster mom cut my nails as they were getting a little sharp. My foster mom says I’m a smart boy – when my brother plays fetch, I let him grab the toy and try to take it when he gets back (work smarter not harder 😉), but my foster mom is teaching me to not always take it from him. I love chewing on my Nylabone, but I also love cuddling up next to my foster mom. So, if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy I’m your guy!

I’m doing very well at potty training – I haven’t gone potty in the house after about four days of training!  I’m also very good at crate training. I’m working on going into the crate for bedtime with prompts from my foster mom and I don’t whine when I’m inside. I am working on a little separation anxiety though and learning that she’ll come back, so if you could work more on this with me that would be wonderful.

I’m a little shy and timid so it takes me a little bit to explore new things but once I’ve tried, I’m the most confident at it! For example, my foster mom’s apartment has stairs that I have to go on before going outside to potty. I didn’t want to try it on my first day but now I run up the stairs faster than my brother! I also throw the cutest little whiny tantrums when my brother gets annoying and tries to sleep on top of me. Even though I’m timid I do start barking when I hear someone around my apartment or when I see another person when I’m out to potty but we’re working on that. Other things I’m working on with my foster mom and brother are “sit”, taking treats gently and waiting for the OK to start eating. I’m doing a great job, as I’m a very smart boy!

Do you think we’ll be a great match?  If so, I’d love to meet you so we can cuddle!
