Hello to my future forever family, my name is Candy. My foster mom tells me every day that I am as sweet as candy! I am a very happy, loving, gentle, puppy wanting to share all the love I have to give. I love to be affectionate with kisses and smiles. Yes, that is correct – I can smile! I have the softest coat with a golden red brindle pattern, I am very unique. I also have a red nose and my eyes are a caramel color. My favorite thing to do is play tug-of-war, sit by your side and just spend time with you!
I have never had an accident in my kennel or the house. Yay me! I am kennel trained and will go to my kennel upon asking. I am told that I am very well mannered! I am learning “sit” and “stay”. I have the first part down, improving on the “stay” every day. I am also learning to fetch. I have learned what doggie treats are – if you have a treat I will do just about anything! I would really love to go to puppy school and learn all kinds of things to be a good dog for my new forever family. My foster mom says I will be a breeze to train!
I haven’t met any kids yet, but I am a gentle pup, so I imagine I would do very well with them. In my foster home, I live with four other doggies and two kitties and one big fish! I love everyone and they love me!
I can be a little shy when I first meet you, a slow introduction is the best for me. Once I learn who you are, watch out because my tail will be wagging and I’ll shower you with kisses!
