Hi, my name is Calypso but my foster parents call me Lips! I’m a mostly all white pup with one blue eye, one green eye, and some unique black spots on my pink nose. I actually lived right here in Minnesota before I joined the Save-A-Bull family. In my foster home, I live with one of my siblings, the resident dog, and some cats. I am fitting right in and doing so, so well. 🙂

I LOVE playing all day with my foster family and brother. I’m confident and playful and exploring new things is so much fun for me! The big dogs I have met want to play with me and cuddle with me on their own terms. I back off when I should but I wish they would let me curl up with them all the time.

I love chewing on bones, and napping on the couch. My kennel is an easy place for me to feel comfy – I rarely whine, but my favorite thing is when I get to jump in bed and snuggle with my foster parents in the morning and whenever they’ll let me. I never want to get up when I’m so cozy!

Potty training is going great, I knew that outside is the place to go and have only had a few accidents since being here. My foster parents are obsessed with me and I can tell they are always talking about how cute I am (while taking so many pictures of my cute face when I perk both of my ears up). I’ve got a lot of energy during play time, but afterwards I love to crash and cuddle on the couch with my foster parents and siblings.

Something you should know about me is that I am deaf. My foster parents had no experience with deaf puppies, but have realized quickly that I might just be even more fun to train and get to know. They are always smiling at me and seem so proud of me! I follow my brother and foster siblings' cues so well, and pick up on signs that sometimes they even think I can hear a little!

I’m a curious soul, I get excited for treats but I am patient and sit and wait for my turn. Training is going well! I know it will look a little different for me, but I am so smart and I know I will learn quickly. I already know a few signs and am excited to learn more – I think working with a trainer sounds really fun! I need a family who is eager to spend quality time with me, play with me, and help me be the best dog I can be. I feel SO confident and friendly with new people and new things so you could take me anywhere.

Overall, I need someone who wants to play with me, show me love and patience, and can be my best friend/companion day in and day out. A doggy sibling would be super helpful so I have someone to learn from, take cues from, and (hopefully) cuddle with. I know I’ll be a loyal and fun part of your family and I can’t wait to meet you!
