Hi! My name is Bruno, and I'm a sweet Pitbull/Shepherd mix pup. Everyone tells me how handsome I am – just look at my expressive eyebrows and ears! My foster family loves my little forehead rolls and my soft, tawny fur. I'm a great cuddler – I'll curl up in your lap and snooze for hours. I love hanging out on the couch with my foster parents and foster dog sister, but I'm content curled up in my kennel too. They said I was found out in the cold December snow, and I don't like the cold but thankfully my foster family has lots of warm blankies and even a winter coat for when I go potty.
Speaking of potty, I am mastering potty training! I can hold it in my kennel all night, and I'll go right out in the yard and do my business. I'm great at wearing a leash or harness, and I love going on walks. I don’t pull at all – I love a nice slow pace so I can sniff to my heart’s content. I am a quick and eager learner, I'm a curious pup and can't wait to explore more. I take corrections like a champ and always aim to please. I am still teething and working through some puppy mouthiness, but I love giving kisses too. An obedience class would help me learn more – I'll do anything for a treat!
Because of my rough beginnings my legs were a little wonky, but I did a lot of work to get my legs stable and stronger again, and I’m doing great. I need to do some stretching, and I even get pampered with paw massages. I’ve been gaining weight and getting taller every day!
My foster sister has been teaching me how to play respectfully, and I would love another confident doggy playmate to jump around with. My foster sister has so many fun toys for me to try out – I love playing with all kinds. She's shared all her toys and beds with me, and now I know that I can share also and don't need to worry about not having what I need. We get zoomies and run around, or we sit by each other and chew on bones or tennis balls and we love to give each other kisses and cuddles. I haven't met any cats yet but I get along great with every dog I meet, and I take cues well. I’m respectful and submissive when meeting a new dog.
I'd love a family that will give me lots of cuddles and help me grow into the amazing adult dog I know I can be. I have so much love to share and kisses to give. With a little bit of patience and a whole lotta love, I'll be the best dog you've ever had. I can't wait to meet you!
