Hi, my name is Bootstrap but my foster parents call me Boots. I actually lived right here in Minnesota before I joined the Save-A-Bull family. I am at the next start of my journey with my foster parents, my sister, a foster doggy sibling, and some cats. My foster parents and doggy siblings have been so patient with me and help me feel comfortable and loved.
My foster parents call me a little piggy and a ham because I’m always so wiggly, happy, and smiley – nothing can mess with my positive demeanor! The neighbor kid behind us who likes to play with us says I have a “smile for miles.”
I'm good in my kennel, but my favorite thing is when I get to jump in bed and snuggle with my foster parents in the morning. I never want to get up when I’m so cozy! Potty training is going great, I knew right away to hold it in my kennel and have only had a few accidents since being here. My foster parents are obsessed with me and I can tell they are always talking about how cute I am (while taking so many pictures of my cute face). I’ve got a lot of energy during play time, but afterwards I love to crash and cuddle on the couch.
I LOVE playing all day with my foster sibling and sister, and whenever I see my people, I run to them so I can show them my sweet smile and give them kisses. I’m confident and playful and love exploring new things! I love chewing on bones, and napping on the couch. I’ve spent some time with my foster aunt and her big dogs and I have SO much fun with them. The big dogs I have met want to play with me and cuddle with me on their own terms. I back off when I should but I’m such a sweet/happy boy I wish they let me all the time!
I’m a curious soul and I get excited for treats. My people are always laughing at how silly and bouncy I am. I really need a family who is eager to spend quality time with me, play with me, and help me be the best dog I can be! I'm a little shy at first but I’m very quick to love new people and new things so you can take me anywhere. A doggy sibling would be really helpful so I have someone to learn from, play with, and (hopefully) cuddle with. I know I’ll be a loyal and fun part of your family and I can’t wait to meet you!
