Hi, I’m Bella! I’m an Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix, and people say I’m just about the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. I’ve got the softest fur and the kindest eyes – and while I can be a little timid at first, I warm up quickly with a gentle approach. I’m not the kind of pup to dive headfirst into chaos – I prefer calm, cozy corners and kind company.
I’m fully potty trained and kennel trained. I’m also working on basic commands like “sit” and “leave it,” and I’m already picking them up quickly. I’m super smart and love to learn, especially when treats are involved. My foster mom lets me up on the bed, and I LOVE hanging out with her there – it’s one of my favorite cuddle spots! But when it’s time to settle in for the night, I actually prefer to sleep in my own dog bed or on cozy blankets.
Right now, I live with two resident dogs and one parrot, and we all get along just fine. I’ve lived with cats before and, to be honest, I really love them – not in a chasing way, but in a “you’re soft and fascinating” kind of way. I also do well with kids and enjoy being part of a calm and loving home. I’m not one for rough play, but I enjoy companionship and being nearby.
My perfect home would be a peaceful one, with people who understand that I like to ease into new situations at my own pace. I’d love a family that enjoys relaxed walks, quiet evenings, and plenty of gentle affection.
