Hi there, I’m Bailey!
Let’s get one thing straight—I am the total package. I’ve got a soft coat perfect for petting, big intelligent eyes that see everything, and long brown ‘boots’ that make me look extra stylish. Oh, and my paws? Let’s just say I might have some growing left to do! I’m playful, loving, and always want to be close to my humans. Whether it’s entertaining myself with toys, zooming around the yard, or sneaking off with a sock (oops!), I’m always up to something fun.
I was rescued by a Save-A-Bull alum back in November when he learned my original owner could no longer care for me. Since then, I’ve been learning all about this amazing thing called being a family dog. And let me tell you—I’m LOVING it.
Mornings? They’re for zoomies! I bolt around the yard in tight circles, making sure my human supervisor is fully awake. Inside, I take my speed run from one end of the basement to the other, sliding dramatically into the carpeted wall because, well, flair is important. If my human is stretching, I make sure to supervise (aka, stare and question their life choices with my big bellowing “goooood morning” voice).
I love my routines and have picked up on them quickly. I’m potty trained and kennel trained—I sleep in my kennel at night like a very good pup. I’ve mastered “sit” and am working on “down.” I haven’t taken a training class yet, but I’d love to take one with you! I’m smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn.

I’ve got puppy energy, so I need plenty of activity and structure. I still like to put my mouth where it shouldn’t be—electronics cords, yoga mats, remote controls, and oh yeah, socks. I also love stealing human garments and prancing around proudly. My foster parents are helping me learn that chewing is for toys, and I get special chew time in my kennel with a stuffed beef bone to keep me busy.
I’m also learning how to ignore cars and trucks on walks. I sometimes make a move toward the road (gotta keep things exciting, right?), but my foster parents are working on keeping my focus.

Why are you the very best dog in the whole world?
I am very social – I want to put my big head in my humans’ business no matter the activity.
What would your dream day consist of?
Hanging out on my dog bed and watching morning workout reps. Waking up and eating my dog food covered in gravy. Going for my morning walk with my dog sibling. Playing with my flying squirrel frisbee – chasing it at full speed and when I catch it, showing off how mean I can be, shaking it big time! I’d take a nap in the afternoon. Doing some training with hotdog bits as my reward. In my wildest biggest dreams I get harnessed up and pull a dog sled around the block. Get BIG pets and even bigger treats while watching 101 Dalmatians. Gravy on my dinner before my night walk and retiring to my crate for an evening of bully bone chewing.
What general knowledge TV or movie character are you most like and why?
I am like Boo from Monsters Inc. because I am very friendly, curious about the world, and can be a little timid in new situations. I want to bond with those around me and I’m always down to clown around.
What are some of your favorite toys?
Flying squirrel frisbee, tennis balls, I love to squeak soft toys and then slowly extract their fluff!
What makes your body wiggle and your tail wag harder than anything?
My humans calling to me from at the top of the stairs with my food bowl for breakfast. Playing with my humans in the yard – a bit of back and forth chase in between fetch!
