Hi, my name is Athan. I spent my first five weeks with my mom and my littermates. Since then I’ve been with my foster family. I snuggle hard, I play hard and I sleep hard! I love all people, especially my foster family. I really, really love being outside!
I’m patient and adventurous, and I love training with treats and snuggles. I’m a quick study, and as long you’re consistent with me, I know I’ll be a very well-mannered grown up. So far I’m really good with certain commands – especially ‘release’. I’m very good at going potty in leaves or weeds, but sometimes I get confused in the house. I mostly sleep through the night, as long as I’m fed and let out to go potty beforehand. I prefer to sleep on my dog bed in the living room and though I’m happy to hang out in my kennel, I haven’t mastered the art of relaxing in it for long periods of time. I haven’t quite discovered my voice yet, except when I REALLY want something. I think my foster family likes it this way. 🙂
In my foster home I live with my eight-year-old human brothers. They like to call me Marshmallow (which I usually ignore). I’m not quite sure how I feel about other animals, as I’ve only met a few, but they were pretty cool.
I’d love to be part of a family that does a lot outdoors (part of my naturally sunny disposition) and is willing to continue with my training. Besides, I’m as cute as they come! Could this be you?
