Hi I'm Ara. I came from a place in New Mexico with my siblings and I LOVE the snow here! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to cuddle with my humans and get scratches behind my ear!
I am still very young and learning basic manners and skills like potty training but I am picking up quickly with a routine! I do have an opinion when I first get put in my kennel, however I do settle down after a few minutes and realize my protesting will not get me out. As I grow older I am getting better and better at learning this is a comfortable place. I eat all my meals in my kennel which is helping me learn to enjoy it more too. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE food! I eat super fast so my foster mom slows me down by using a special bowl or feeding me a couple of small portions at a time. I even try to steal my foster siblings' food, it's just so good! Since I am so food motivated I will learn new tricks and tasks fairly quickly.
Like I said, I LOVE the snow too ( have you figured it out yet? I am full of LOVE) being outside is so much fun, the smells and eating the fresh snow are my favorites besides running around and getting my zoomies out chasing my foster siblings in the fresh air. My foster parents have to keep a close eye on me when I am outside because I sometimes eat things I shouldn't, like sticks and wood chips.
My dream forever family will give me lots of cuddles and love, enjoy being outdoors with me and continue to help train me (so I can get more snacks!). I hope you get to meet me soon, I do think you'll LOVE me too!
