I'm ready for my new family!

Grace Hargraves

I'm Available

Hello, I’m Grace. I am a beautiful, sturdy 3-year-old and an incredibly smart girl. My perky ears are like little bat wings and I love a good scratch! I have a lot of energy but nap most of the day during work hours. I had puppies when first arriving in rescue (giving birth to 10 puppies!) and I was an excellent mom. Now it’s my turn to find my forever home!

I can “sit”, “lie down” and am completely potty AND crate trained! I love my kennel and will often take naps in it voluntarily – it makes me feel safe, and I happily sleep there every night. I am working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down", and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks.🙂 I am very strong, and that should be taken into consideration – no airpods for the first few walks, as I will require all of your attention!

I live with my foster parents – no other kids, adults or pets. One of my foster’s works from home and I hang out with her during the day. My other foster travels for work often and I definitely notice when she’s gone. I’m one of those special dogs where when you're in, you're in with me! I definitely notice changes in my environment.

I was raised by an unsheltered person, which wasn’t always easy and I do some signs of trauma which I’m working on, with the help of my foster’s and Save-A-Bull. I have a difficult time when initially meeting men, but have proven that I can get past this after an initial introduction.

The perfect family for me is one that can see me for my worth – to meet me is to love me! I would make a wonderful addition to anyone's household. I am loyal, gentle, playful, and smart. Could this be you?
