Hello, my name is Anne – like from Anne of Green Gables. I am a darling kind lady and my foster family says I am their sweetest foster yet. I am a stocky gal and all the extra skin makes me look so cute and squishable!
I am the snuggliest girl around – if there is space on the couch, I'm there all snuggled up. My foster mom loves holding all the extra skin on my face and kissing my nose, she says I give the silliest little happy smile and that my coat is so, so soft!
I am working on being a good girl in the kennel – since being with my foster family I have learned to settle down quickly at bedtime and sleep really well. Sometimes I start singing in the morning, and my foster mom calls it singing the song of my people! But I only have to go potty and then I am better. I am doing really well with potty training and am an excellent car rider.
I am really good with other dogs, I haven't met one I don't get along with yet. I start out a little shy but warm up fast and love to wrestle. I'm a pretty calm girl and a little shy overall but I do get energy and run around with my other foster puppy. I make a pretty cute toothy smile when wrestling that makes my foster family laugh. I have also been getting really good with the cats that live with my fosters. I sometimes bark at them when they won't come down to say hi to me, but when they are close I sniff very gently and don't chase them. I'm also very good with the 1-year-old kiddo at my foster home. He loves to pat my back, snuggle my extra skin and give me super big hugs!
I would fit into any household as long as there are snuggles to go around. I really have such a kind soul and am ready for my next big adventure. Could you be my new forever family??
