Hi my name is Nyx, and I will steal your heart (and probably your socks!). I was named after the goddess of darkness, night, and shadows and I promise I will follow you around like a little shadow! I had a pretty rough start and I am a bit shy at first, I require a lot of patience (especially when it comes to meeting men). Once I warm up I promise I will let you give me all the pets in the world and I am super goofy!!
I am new to living with humans and I am curious about EVERYTHING – from my foster mom's toothbrush to watching TV on my foster mom's lap – the newest season of Stranger Things is my absolute favorite. I have bursts of energy and love going on walks and exploring all this world has to offer. I would do great with a family with a backyard for my zoomies and a confident dog that I can play with and teach me the ropes. I am a bit skeptical of loud noises, sudden movements, and kids and I have never met a cat before.
I hope my forever family enjoys cuddles, lots of lap sitting, plays tug and fetch, car rides, and takes me on an occasional walk. I’d love it if my forever family keeps helping me be the best dog I can be and help me gain more confidence. Oh, and I am super smart and love treats so I would love to learn some tricks!
