Hi!!! I’m Moose. Yes, that Moose – the slightly chunky, extra-snuggly, professionally adorable one. My foster family calls me their “chunky monkey,” and honestly? Fair. I’ve got a round little puppy belly, a goofy face, and a personality that’s half cuddle bug, half curious explorer.
When I first got to my foster home, the world felt a little big and a little scary. But every single day, I get braver. My strategy? Easy! I follow my foster dog siblings everywhere and copy whatever they do. They make me feel safe, and they’ve shown me that new things aren’t so bad after all. Turns out the world is actually kind of exciting!
I’m still working on my important puppy life skills. Potty training? Making good progress! Crate training? I’m learning – but if I had a vote, I’d choose “snuggled next to my human” every time. I’ve also started practicing leash walking. I’m a smart little guy and I really love praise and encouragement. Tell me I’m doing a good job and I will absolutely try even harder.
In my foster home, I live with other dogs, teenagers, a cat, and even a bird! I like being around people – teens included – and I’m happiest when I’m part of the action. The cat and I play together (sometimes a little rowdy, but the cat holds their own, so it’s all good). And don’t worry – I’ve met a bird and did not try to make it a snack. Self-control level: impressive!
I really enjoy having other dogs around to play with and learn from, so a friendly dog sibling in my forever home would be amazing. I’m still building confidence, so a patient, loving family who will cheer me on while I grow would be perfect for me.
I’ve got that fun, bouncy puppy energy – but after a good play session, I turn into a champion cuddler. I will happily curl up next to you on the couch and snooze like it’s my full-time job.
If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly chunky, brave-in-training best friend who’s equal parts silly and snuggly – I think we should meet!
