Hi, hey, hello! I'm Muffin, and it's finally my turn to tell you all about me! I am spunky, smart, and OH SO cute. When I was really little I had something called puppy strangles, or juvenile cellulitis, this made my nose puff up and some of my hair too thin, and I had to be on medicine to get my shiny coat back, but now look at me! Cute as can be. And this skunk stripe mohawk business? Iconic.
I may only be a few months old, but I've learned that life can be pretty crazy and we gotta make the most out of every minute! So that's exactly what I'm doing – charging through life, ready to explore and embrace every new opportunity!
My foster human says I'm a terrier puppy through and through. I don't really know what that means, but I know I love running, jumping, playing with toys, and wrestling with other dogs! And I'm not afraid to ask for what I want. I bark to let my foster human know when a toy has disappeared under the couch or when the big dogs aren't giving me enough attention, but also when I need to go potty. I don't always remember this one, but when I do, the human takes me outside and then gets really excited, so I'm trying to do it more and more!
I like when my human gets excited. Sometimes it even comes with snacks! Like when she calls my name and I zoom across the yard to her, or even when I just sit down and stare at her – snacks! Pretty cool if you ask me, so I'd really like it if my forever human wanted to play games like that, too.
My foster home just has adults and dogs, but the neighbor kids like to come over and play with me when they see me in the yard. I like to chase them a little bit, but when they try to hold me in their laps, I wriggle away to get back to adventuring. Why sit still when you could be chasing leaves and eating sticks, you know? I do enjoy a good couch snuggle with the foster human though, especially if I can bring a stuffie! And I'm good at settling down when it's time to take a break (like after breakfast so my foster human can "get some work done"). It's all about balance.
So what do you think? Am I your dream come true, or what? If so, I would love to meet you!
