Hello my name is Shiffrin. I am a gorgeous blue/gray girl with beautiful steel bluish/gray eyes. I am named after a well known skier, so I’ve come up to Minnesota from Texas to find some snow! I enjoy exploring new things, but mostly I like to stay close to my humans. I am discovering the joys of tug-o-war, squeaky toys and bones to chew. I have only been in my foster home for a short time, so life is a learning experience for me.
Potty training has been going very well so far. With the cold MN winter, I’ve learned what going outside means and I get my business done quickly. My foster mom has me on a schedule so I’ve had very few accidents in the house, but I’m still a puppy so I am learning. I am a champ in my kennel! Sometimes I cry a bit when I first go in, but I settle down after a few minutes. At night I settle in nicely and if I have to go potty in the night I let my foster mom know so she can take me out, get my business done and go back to sleep. 🙂
I do not live with any kids, but I’m a friendly girl so I’m sure I would love them. In my foster home, I live with a seven-year-old female pittie, a five-year-old male pittie (both Save-A-Bull alumni) and two cats. I am very respectful of my foster siblings' space.
My foster siblings are teaching me:
I am still learning lots of things about life and need a family who is willing to patiently teach me. I have so much love to give. If your family is looking for a fun-loving pup, I’m your girl!
