Hi, my name is Cece. I am a spunky girl who loves to play but I also am very sweet and love to snuggle! Since I've gotten out of the shelter and into a real home, I've been adjusting very well. I've been learning so much and doing lots of exploring.
I have been working really hard on training and learning new tricks. I'm getting the hang of potty training and doing pretty well! I go potty every time I go outside, but I still have an accident every now and then. Since I'm still young and small, my new family will need to continue working on my potty training with me. I'm doing really well adjusting to my kennel! I go right in when directed and usually settle in after a few minutes, fall asleep, and wait patiently for my foster parents to come home. I spend some nights in the kennel and sleep through the night. Other nights I get to sleep in bed with my foster parents and the other dogs and I really enjoy that and do very well!
Since coming to my foster home, I've been having a great time playing! I love to run zoomies around with the other dogs I live with. I also like playing with toys, chasing balls and chewing on bones. I enjoy wrestling with the other dogs – we all get along great and I would love a home with other dogs, but also wouldn't mind being an only dog and getting all the love and attention to myself. I'm also living with a cat. I think he is so much fun to play with! My foster parents have been reminding me he doesn't play the same way as I do and I have to be gentle with him. I'm getting better but I just get so excited it's hard to remember sometimes. My foster parents say I could live with a cat, but a dog savvy one.
After playtime, I enjoy taking a nap on the couch and snuggling with my foster parents. Sometimes I like to snuggle up under a blanket. My foster parents say I've got the perfect balance of play time to nap time! I like meeting new people but sometimes I get a bit shy and nervous. I'm still learning to be confident and trusting of new people. But once I know you've got treats and pets I warm up quickly.
